PC SOFT acquired by Volaris — session billing is in place

PC SOFT was acquired by Volaris Group, specialist in the acquisition of business software at the end of the cycle. The perpetual license is gone. Billing changes per session — approximately €290 excl. tax/session/year. For a company with several dozen positions and a few developers, the invoice can be multiplied by 20 in one year, as happened to the Vinci Group.

This project served as the basis for building the WinDev WakaStart SaaS → B2B automated forge. More than a month to adapt WakaNalytics and the forge to the WinDev context — especially for the engine able to take over the 40,000 pages of documentation of this big ERP. Then: reverse engineering + mock-ups + generation of B2B SaaS code in 2 weeks, + 1 week of final checks before going live. WakaStellar committed to a result before the end of the year.

An agentic forge,

No AI converts a WinDev app “with a click” — and those who promise to do so are lying to you. WakaStart industrializes what is automatable and keeps a human on each validation.

The business logic of your application is captured then regenerated by the WakaStart forge : code aligned with our reference stack, declarative architecture imported in JSON, containerized services deployed on our Kubernetes farm, Keycloak identities and SSOs, interface modernized by WakaUI.

The safeguards are non-negotiable: human review of the generated code, screen-by-screen equivalence tests, blank data replays, table-by-table compliance report.

Key Differentiating Argument

Only the project management and business understanding — in no way a language. Neither TypeScript nor Rust to know. The Waka skills and the specialized agents of the forge design the models, deploy and correct the bugs reported in the test.

We generate a compliance report table by table before the switchover, the original base is never changed, and you validate the report before deciding to switch to the new stack. The strongest repository we have is the Vinci case: 2 weeks of generation + 1 week of final controls for 2 ERPs of ~300 screens each (1000 users in total). The actual time depends on the functional scope of your application. WebDev is usually faster because the application is already web — no executable conversion to manage.
To help the WinDev community get out of WinDev's clutches for free — paid keys, dongles, runtimes imposed since the Volaris takeover. Offer is free and has no time limit — it's not a promo. The coding of the application by the forge requires a Claude subscription to access the service. Analyses can also run with Gemini CLI or GPT Codex, but Claude is recommended and the most tested.
